Homunculus guide Empty
PostSubject: Homunculus guide   Homunculus guide Icon_minitimeWed Oct 01, 2008 5:01 am

*NOTE these is not my guide these is CMX guide is just transfered it here...
*so please thank him instead

Baby Homunculus are: Amistr - Amistr 2 - Filir - Filir 2 - Lif - Lif 2 - Vanilmirth - Vanilmirth 2.

Lif: Support Type

Touch of Heal (Skill ID# 8001) iRO Name: Healing Hands
Type: Active Max Level: 5
SP Cost: 10 + 3*SkillLV
Target: Ally
Cast Time: Instant After Cast Delay: 1 sec
Effect: This works exactly like the Acolyte's Heal skill, healing the target HP. The healed amount depends only on the Homunculus's LV and INT. Each cast requires 1 Condensed Red Potion.
(Plan and simple, It's a heal skill so you don't have to pot as much which means more money in your pocket $$$)

Emergency Avoid (Skill ID# 8002) iRO Name: Urgent Escape
Type: Active Max Level: 5
Requirements: Touch of Heal Level 3
SP Cost: 15 + 5*SkillLV
Target: Self and Master
Duration: 35 + 5*SkillLV sec
Effect: Helps avoiding dangerous situations by temporarily increasing player's and Homunculus's movement speed.
Level Moving Speed Bonus - Duration
1 10% - 40 Sec
2 20% - 35 Sec
3 30% - 30 Sec
4 40% - 25 Sec
5 50% - 20 Sec
(This would be my most favorite skill, at max skill level your movement speed becomes the same as if you are using SP pots for FREE!)

Mental Change (Skill ID# 8004) iRO Name: Mental Charge
Type: Active Max Level: 3
Target: Homunculus self
After Cast Delay: LV 1 300 sec, LV 2 600 sec, LV 3 900 sec
Duration: LV 1 60 sec, LV 2 180 sec, LV 3 300 sec
Effect: For the skill's duration, Homunculus's Maximum HP and SP are switched. Non-skill attacks are increased by the Lif's MATK value. Upon activation, Homunculus's HP is fully healed. After the skill's duration has ended, HP and SP are set to 10.
Level Description
1 lasts 60 sec
2 lasts 180 sec
3 lasts 300 sec
(I don't like this skill nor do I find it useful. Sure it obviously gives me more SP to heal but I like having as much health possible on my Homunculus rather then dropping it)

Amistr: Tanker Type

Castling (Skill ID# 8005)
Type: Active Max Level: 5
SP Cost: 10
Target: none
After Cast Delay: 50 + 10*SkillLV (except LV 5 which is 129 sec)
Duration: 50 + 10*SkillLV sec
Effect: Instantaenuously switch the location of the player and the Homunculus. The monsters that were attacking the player will now attack the Homunculus instead.
Level Description
1 20% chance
2 40% chance
3 60% chance
4 80% chance
5 100% chance
(Pretty much a 1 time use in combat, but do note when using the skill to look at the mob brewing on your Homunculus or you'll just run from a small mob to a bigger mob.)

Defense (Skill ID# 8006) iRO Name: Amistr Bulwark
Type: Active Max Level: 5
Requirements: Castling Level 5
SP Cost: 15 + 5*SkillLV
Target: Homunculus and Master
Duration: 45 - 5*SkillLV sec
Effect: Temporarily increase DEF of the Homunculus and the player.
Level Description
1 +2 for 40 sec
2 +4 for 35 sec
3 +6 for 30 sec
4 +8 for 25 sec
5 +10 for 20 sec
(This Homunculus is made to tank, so the more DEF the better.)

Adamantium Skin (Skill ID# 8007)
Type: Passive Max Level: 5
Requirements: Defense Level 3
Effect: Permanently increase the DEF, Maximum HP and HP regeneration rate of the Homunculus.
Level HP Bonus / Regen Bonus / DEF Bonus
1 + 2% / 5% / 4
2 + 4% / 10% / 8
3 + 6% / 15% / 12
4 + 8% / 20% / 16
5 + 10% / 25% / 20
(Everyone likes more DEF right? Less damage is always a good thing.)

Blood Lust (Skill ID# 8008)
Type: Active Max Level: 3
SP Cost: 120
Target: Homunculus self
After Cast Delay: LV 1 300 sec, LV 2 600 sec, LV 3 900 sec
Duration: LV 1 60 sec, LV 2 180 sec, LV 3 300 sec
Effect: For the spells duration, Homunculus's damage is increased and every attack has a certain chance to leech 20% of the damage as HP.
Level Description
1 +30% ATK, 3% leech chance
2 +40% ATK, 6% leech chance
3 +50% ATK, 9% leech chance

Filir: Attacker Type

Moonlight (Skill ID# 8009)
Type: Offensive Max Level: 5
SP Cost: 4*SkillLV

Level Times Hit - Damage Bonus
1 1 - 220%
2 2 - 330%
3 2 - 440%
4 2 - 550%
5 3 - 660%

S.B.R.44 (Skill ID# 8012)
Type: Active Max Level: 3
SP Cost: 1
Effect: Lower your Filir's intimacy level in exchange for high damage to a single target.
(Insane Damage but at the cost of your intimacy.)

Fleet Move (Skill ID# 8010) iRO Name: Flitting
Type: Active Max Level: 5
Requirements: (May vary for different classes, view skill by classes is recommended)
Moonlight Level 3
SP Cost: 20 + 10*SkillLV
Target: Homunculus
After Cast Delay: 50 + 10*SkillLV (except LV 5 which is 120 sec)
Duration: 65 - 5*SkillLV sec
Effect: Temporarily increase ASPD by +3*SkillLV and Attack Power by 105%+5*SkillLV% of Filir (maybe the increase is only 5+5*SkillLV?).
Level ASPD Bonus - Damage Bonus - Lasting Time / After-cast Delay
1 3 - 110% - 60 sec / 60 sec
2 6 - 115% - 55 sec / 70 sec
3 9 - 120% - 50 sec / 80 sec
4 12 - 125% - 45 sec / 90 sec
5 15 - 130% - 40 sec / 120 sec
(It is pretty much a permanent buff so always use and apply on recharge.)

Over Speed (Skill ID# 8011) iRO Name: Accelerated Flight
Type: Active Max Level: 5
Requirements: (May vary for different classes, view skill by classes is recommended)
Fleet Move Level 3
SP Cost: 20 + 10*SkillLV
Target: Homunculus
After Cast Delay: 50 + 10*SkillLV (except LV 5 which is 120 sec)
Duration: 50 + 10*SkillLV sec
Effect: Temporarily increase the Flee Rate of your Homunculus by 10+10*SkillLV.
Level Flee Bonus - Lasting Time / Cool Down
1 20 - 60 sec / 60 sec
2 30 - 55 sec / 70 sec
3 40 - 50 sec / 80 sec
4 50 - 45 sec / 90 sec
5 60 - 40 sec / 120 sec
(Same thing, pretty much a permanent buff so always use and apply on recharge.)

Vanilmirth: Caster Type

Caprice (Skill ID# 8013)
Type: Offensive Max Level: 5
SP Cost: 20 + 2*SkillLV

Chaotic Benediction (Skill ID# 8014) iRO Name: Chaotic Blessings
Type: Active Max Level: 5
Requirements: Caprice Level 3

Effect: It randomly uses Heal up to the current Chaotic Benediction skill level to either one of the following: Player (you), enemy that you are attacking or Homunculus itself at following success rate.

(Thanks for www.ratemyserver.net for this info).

Evolutions:

Yes, your Homunculus CAN evolve. Meaning they can grow up. Currently they are in their baby form upon recieveing you Homunculus. A Stone of Sage is reqiured to evolve it.

Food:
What does each Homunculus eat?

Lif: Pet food. Can be bought at prontera and morroc.
Lif 2: Same as above
Filir: Garlets
Filir 2: Same as above
Vanilmirth: Scell
Vanilmirth 2: Same as above
Amistr: Zargon
Amistr 2: Zargon

Feeding time:

1~10% Hunger - Homunculus receives 50% bonus intimacy
11~25% Hunger - Homunculus receives 100% bonus intimacy
26%~75% Hunger - Homunculus receives 75% bonus intimacy
76%~90% Hunger - Homunculus loses 5% bonus intimacy
91%~100% Hunger - Homunculus loses 50% bonus intimacy

Best feeding time is at 11~25% Hunger.
You can only feed the Homunculus every 10 minutes.

Status:

The Status of a pet is it's affection to you.

0-3= Hate with a passion
4-10 = Hate
11-100 = Awkward
101-250 = Shy
251-750 = Neutral
751-910 = Cordial
911-1000 = Loyal - A Homunculus can evolve.

Lets be safe and say you start off at 50.
You need to be 910 to have Loyal. 910-50 is 860.
You gain 1 point for every feeding period.
Lets say you always feed it when it hits 24.
You MUST wait 10 minutes before the next feeding period
So thats 860 points x (10/1 minutes per feeding for 1 point) = 8600 minutes

8600/60= 144 hours of continuous feeding to get it to base loyal.

Screeny.

Things that affect intamacy towards you:

Causing your Homunculus to have 0 hunger lowers the intamacy rate.

Feeding it continually over 100 would cause it's intamacy levels to lower. Also, it might run away.

Thanks to www.ratemyserver.net for this info.

How to evolve:

Use a Stone of Sage when the Homunculus gets to loyal.

Combos/bugs:

Filir:
SBR 44 damage: 3*Intimacy*ATK Damage
3*1000*300=900,000
Theres also the fact that Filirs are Brute monsters
so Thara Frogs cant block the SBR44 damage.
(Sexy ain't? Bet "you" didn't know that.)

If you use a Movement Speed increasing item or skill than vaporize and recall your Homunculus it will have the Speed increase until you relog, map change, or teleport.

How to heal a Homunculus:

Making the Homunculus stand there, will make it heal normally.
Using potion pitcher if your the owner OR slim potion pitcher can heal it too.
Use the @pitchhom x (Where x is the level of potion pitcher you want to use. That way you don't have to target your Homunculus.)(Credit to Venture)-easiest way to heal is to hotkey this @pitchhom commands
Using the skill Chaotic Benediction from the Vanilmirth can heal itself, the enemy, or the owner.

How to ressurect a Homunculus:

Use skill Ressurect Homunculus, using this skill DOES NOT use an Embryo. So you can ressurect it as many times as possible.

How to make another Homunculus:

Press "Del" on the status menu on the Homunculus and use the skill Call homunculus.

How to make a Homunculus:

Everything is in Prontera from the Alchemist NPC
(Thanks Venture forgot about that, use to going to the individual NPCs themselves.)

Homunculus Commands:

Alt + R to open status window.

Alt + T to change to passive.

Alt + Right click to move.

Alt + Right click x2 to attack.

/hoai* <- causes the artificial intelligence to go from default to custom.
**You have to relog for it to take effect. (Credit to Venture)

*Note: Please, refrain from using this command. Do NOT use this skill unless you have fully updated your kRO and Sakrey, and you have the Homunculus AI files. If not, you can get a series of sprite errors. NON STOP. This is a warning.
